We ate at the Brasserie on the evening of saturday 4th October while visiting Ipswich for the weekend. The four of us were greeted warmly upon arrival (we had'nt pre-booked and were not made to feel like the staff were doing us a favour in finding us a table) we were waited on attentively by friendly and smiling staff and nothing was too much trouble for them.(Even to the point where my friend requested an out-of-the-ordinary sauce for his (fantastically cooked) steak and although not available, was quickly made for him by the chef)
The food was out-of-this-world gorgeous and plentiful and every single member of staff were absolutely fabulous.
We would highly recommend this restaurant. The staff, the food and the ambience were as perfect as one could ever wish for when dining out.
A big thank you to all for such great service.
Debbie, Jeremy, Heidi & Neil.

I think Terry must be writing about the wrong Brasserie, we started going there just after they opened, we go before every Ipswich Town
home game afternoon and evenings and the quality of the food and service has always been excellant.

Terry, I think you may have been unlucky on that particular night. I have eaten their quite a few times and I have always found the service to be exceptionaly good and the food to be of a high standard. I also noticed you are the only person to say something negative.........

WENT TO THE BRASSERIE FOR MY BIRTHDAY LAST WEEKEND AND MUST SAY WE WERE MORE THAN IMPPRESSED WITH BOTH SERVICE AND FOOD. FOUND THE STAFF VERY ORGANISED AND FRIENDLY ESPECIALLY AS WE WERE A LARGE PARTY. THE DUCK WAS A FABULOUS CHOICE AND THE LAMB WAS PERFECT. HONESTLY CANT FAULT IT, WE WILL BE BACK.

i have eaten at the brasseie twice now and had to be forced back the second time, never again! the food was appauling and seemed to take for ever to get to our table, we waited 45 mins for our starter! the waitress seemed like she couldnt care less and was more intressed in her nails than service. utterly dreadful
