Just had a very nice meal. OK the manager is not the most animated, but he is professional, poised and faultless in presentation.

I tried every restaurant in Ipswich & my expectations are always pretty high, Ghandi's food is simply the best in Ipswich, no doubt! The trouble with some diners is that they don't simply expect great food, they want the staff to kiss their "royal" a.. as well for their £1 tip at best. I think it's time to stop treating Indian people as second class & be able to speak with them & be spoken to on same level.

The food here is by far the best you'll find around Ipswich, and the environment is top-notch.
Service is, however, patchy. The owner, who is often in the front-of-house, has a major attitude problem and seems to think he's doing all his customers a favour by running a restaurant.
And that, I'm afraid, is enough to ensure that I shall never return except when dragged along by one or more of my curry-mad friends who refuse to eat anywhere else!
