Just been reading some of the reviews on the web-site, I cant believe how some of them are true!!!! I've been eating at Mr Wings for a few years and have always had excellent food and wicked service!!!! some people just expect the Earth to be moved for them!! Try it for yourselves and then make your own judgement. Nothing worse than some of the general public!!!!!!!!

Have been going to Mr Wings for years but wont be going back now! We arrived on 20/05/08 to be told in an extremly rude fashion that we can eat for an hour and a half and then we'd have to vacate the table as they have bookings and we didnt book! I understand there point of view but the young gentleman was very rudewe in his manner towards potential customers. We decided to eat as we have been eating there for years and love the food, we made the most of our time limit enjoying the as always nice food. Im still quite new to chinese food and ordered an onion and mushroom foo young not realising it was omelette I preceded to try it even tho i dont like omelette i decided not to eat it and go for a mixed vegtable curry instead. It was taken away only for the previously mentioned server to start having a go at me saying "We have to charge you for wasted food you didnt eat youre omelette" I stated that i was aware it was an omelette an that i dont like them, he then decided to say to my partner " Ive told you before you know you cant waste food" obvioulsy recognizing her from a previous visit but he has never stated this to her before. We were both taken aback but his agreeive manner and I told him well I know for next time dont I? He brought the bill over and he didnt charge us for this wasted food so we happily paid and left. We wont be going back tho as the other staff we great and he spoiled it with his attitude, I understand they dont want to waste food but i honestly didnt know what foo young was, it doesnt state anywhere in the menus that you have to pay for waste and they dont tell you theyd charge you which i feel is wrong as people have the right to become full or just not like something doesnt mean they deserve to be charged.

We went there last night.Food was excellent but customer service leaves a lot to be desired! we arrived ten mins before we were due to eat and we sat at our table. Because one of our party wasn't going to show we told them. They said ' move! we need to take chair ' lol! it was rude but we could laugh about it! I don't think we saw one smile from them or a please or thankyou all night! I had a glass or two of wine and it was watered down!! I saw that someone has mentioned watered down wine before on here. I think that should be investigated

If you're going to the theatre next door, don't hesitate to drop by Mr Wings for a pre-show dinner. If, however, you're looking for a top-notch dining experience in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, go to Trongs instead - it's infinitely better.

While the food was certainly very good the service and attitude of the staff was awful. We were a large party and they wanted us out quickly as they had a reservation for someone else. because we were paying for the buffet, they were very strict with portion control (eg 6 of us requested satay chicken so they brought out just 6 skewers). Despite their rush to get us out, they wouldn't bring the next course until every last crumb had been eaten. We requested tap water which didn't arrive - probably because it's free. We did however receive the many bottles of wine we ordered without delay (most likely so we would order some more). When one of the waiting staff split a drink on our legs they were loathe to apologise - we did however get given a glass of watered down wine as "compensation." Yes, teh food was faultless but all the same I would not return.

first class chinese food, freshly prepared and full of flavour served by friendly and professional waiters/waitresses. The buffet although not the cheapest in town is by far the best quality and value for money.
