I think this retsaraunt is brilliant! i think they make the best Italian food in ipswich and i highly reccomend it. The Waitors and waitresses Are FANTASTIC and they always are polite and kind. me and my family have been going there for ages now and every time we go there we think its fantastic!!! Please go to this place ... (and order the pesto chicken and caramelised onion bread) there BRILLIANT ! i love zizzi! bring on the good food forever! GO 2 ZIZZI

Zizzi staff do currently get paid in cash but it's all taxed and done via the right channels etc. As mentioned, it is a multi-national company so it's hardly likely to get away with 'cash in hand no questions asked' behaviour for this long. All credit card tips and service charge go towards staffs minimum wage, legal but disgusting if you ask me, so cash tips all the way. Many of the staff won't tell you this though for fear of being fired (fact). Why should the customer pay the staff what the employee should be paying??!!??

Went in for lunch on Saturday, it started really well, nice wine, nice starter, nice beer, nice breads, then it started to get busy, we went in at 12.15 and left at 2.30 with no chance of a pudding, the main course was lovely but we just couldn't get the attention of the staff, finally went to order pudding and the two best ones which are made to order were unavailable (I wonder why!!)we gave up, more staff needed I think that would help, will go back though for another go.

I worked for zizzi and never got paid cash in hand, they are a multi national company and that would not happen, only thing for advice, staff credit card tips are shared between people who do not serve you and sometimes work in a different branch so please tip cash.
