Sixth Cherry Tree Beer Festival , 30 May 2008 to 01 June 2008 at 73, Cumberland Street Woodbridge (6 miles away)
The Cherry Tree Inn (opposite Notcutts) will be holding their 6th beer festival on the 30th, 31st May and 1st June 2008. For most people, the practice of the living artist may seem remote, while work seen in exhibitions has an air of anonymity. Visitors to the artist’s studios are able to appreciate the artwork and ask questions about the original concept. Viewers will meet the artist in his or her world of creation and learn about the inspiration and the method of working

Ipswich Jazz Club
The town's top regular venue for the best in Jazz. Regular concerts take place on the 3rd Sunday every month at THE CALIFORNIA CLUB on Foxhall Road. Performances 8.00 to 10.30pm. Doors open 7.30pm.
As a non-profit making organisation run by a voluntary committee the IPSWICH JAZZ CLUB is entirely dependant on income from our audience. We receive no funding from any other source. The club is dedicated to bringing the best possible modern and mainstream jazz to Ipswich.

Ipswich Ladies Hockey Club
Ipswich Ladies Hockey Club is the only Premier National League club in Suffolk and we aim to cater for all standards of players. Ipswich Real Nappy Network
We are a voluntary group raising awareness and promoting washable cloth nappies. Nappaccino meetings are held on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 10.30-12.30 at St Pancras Church Hall, Tacket St, Ipswich where we have a second hand nappy exchange, provide independent advice on the care and use of cloth nappies and promote local cloth nappy retailers. We also give talks and demonstrations to groups, health professionals and day care providers and have available an up to date local directory of cloth nappy retailers and laundry services.

The Lions Club of Ipswich
For over 30 years the Lions Club of Ipswich has been working within Ipswich to help raise money for those less fortunate. A totally voluntary organisation and are always looking for people who either need our help, or want to help us put something back into the local community.

Trianon Music Group
Formed in 1959 Trianon's Symphony Orchestra and Choir perform three major concerts a year in various venues, such as Ipswich Corn Exchange and Snape Maltings. Members also take part many other musically associated activities including the annual series of 'Community Concerts' held across the region in support of local churches and other charities.
The Group recruits across a wide age range. Many of its members are at School, College or University, and Trianon provides opportunities for young players to have their first chance to take part in the performance of large scale works. The membership is not confined to young people - there are members who have been in Trianon for many years.
Rehearsals take place in Ipswich during college and school vacations periods, thereby enabling members to belong to Trianon as well as benefit from membership of musical organisations which meet in term time.
New members are always welcome. It is expected that instrumentalists will have achieved a minimum standard equivalent to grade 5 (Associated Board) and be competent sight-readers. There is no audition for either choir or orchestra, although members may be invited to participate on a 'trial' basis.
